Snow!!

Last night we had a snow "storm". It snowed all night and I woke up to this!!! Beautiful, fluffy snow!! Love it...

The way the trees look, so beautiful! As I said before, snow is new to me and I really enjoy it. Everything is so white and silent! Familiar places and thing are completely transformed. No matter the season there is beauty in everything, including change. Tomorrow it will probably be gone, but I got to enjoy it today....
Wish everybody beauty and love in everything seen and done...

Pilot Mountain

Less than an hour from Winston-Salem is Pilot Mountain. It is really beautiful!! The view is breathtaking from there! This was the first place I visited when I came here for my job interview in March 2013, and since that first day I fell in love with the place. To be able to go there in each season is wondrous! The Autumn colors are so intense!!! Summer is so very warming, and Spring is so promising... Here are a few photo from this picture perfect place...

I guess you can see why I love this place! If you ever visit Winston-Salem, please visit Pilot Mountain! I am sure you will love it!!!
Thanks for reading!!

North of South..

So here is my new blog.
After living 28 years in Mexico, and managing my first blog At Home in Mexico for a few years, I am now living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, so the old blog is not working for my new place of residence. I still consider Mexico my 2nd home (my first home would be Puerto Rico...I know, a lot of moving around), and I love that country with a passion! It's people, food, customs, everything!!! Totally fascinating!
But now I am here and there is so much to see and do, that I would like to share it with all of you! The mountains are breathtaking, the people warm, the customs so southern! And this is the funny part of all this...I am now in the South, but it is so North of Mexico and Puerto Rico! That is why I feel I am North of South....
So I hope you enjoy my new blog.
To all I have lived in Mexico, muchas gracias!
And to all my new adventures here, north of south, thanks y'all!!
